Parrox in the 1960’s. In the foreground ‘Silver,’ a Pyrenean mountain dog, who stopped the traffic in Knott End. When the police objected to his behaviour, he was exiled to Scotland. He didn’t stay for long and soon set off back to Lancashire. |
